Nokias do it pretty well. Without that feature I would still need to carry a PDA.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17087850.post-26247697046041107312007-11-12T14:34:00.000-05:002007-11-12T14:34:00.000-05:00And the OLPC?http://www.laptopgiving.org/And the OLPC?

http://www.laptopgiving.org/Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17087850.post-81503069875913783032007-11-09T14:10:00.000-05:002007-11-09T14:10:00.000-05:00yo slava.get it at pccyber on richmond rd. a few g...yo slava.

get it at pccyber on richmond rd. a few guys at work got one and they say it's awesome.mrblackhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13620771797568197986noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17087850.post-47925954237229328092007-11-07T10:22:00.000-05:002007-11-07T10:22:00.000-05:00I like the looks of it too, but the official specs...I like the looks of it too, but the official specs only claim 2.8-3.5 hours of battery life depending on the model (this is right on the page you linked to).James Haguehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04984560320591931809noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17087850.post-10332828101981873022007-11-07T00:50:00.000-05:002007-11-07T00:50:00.000-05:00What about laptops like the X-series ThinkPads, th...What about laptops like the X-series ThinkPads, the good ole 12" PowerBooks or other 12in machines? Even a few years ago, most of them ran ULV Pentiums running at below 1.5GHz (today I think they have Core Duos running at similar frequencies).

What I've read about the Asus EEE was less than flattering, i.e. an included Celery CPU that doesn't clock down and actually the machine *does* run a bit hot, so you're probably better off with one with a real CPU. (Oh, and only 3.5 hours battery time.)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
